JAMMU, Jan 24: A team of the officials of Electric Sub-Division-I (Distribution), Gandhi Nagar of Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) today conducted ‘Mass Disconnection’ drive at Channi Himmat, Gandhi Nagar, Sainik Colony, Narwal, Transport Nagar and its adjoining areas.
The team headed by Er Sardari Lal, Assistant Executive Engineer along with AE and concerned Feeder Managers under the supervision of Executive Engineer, PD Singh and under the drive 56 illegal installation were disconnected and an amount of Rs 29.81 lacs has been recovered and also took strict note against those who have not paid balance arrear amount of electricity so far.
The officials also requested to electric consumers to pay their monthly electric bill in time and to clear their outstanding/ arrear amount soon to avoid disconnection.
