Jared Leto hints involvement in rumoured ‘TRON’ reboot

LOS ANGELES, Oct 16:  Actor Jared Leto has teased that he is in negotiations for a possible reboot of the “TRON” series.
The 45-year-old actor said there is potential in the film’s story that should be pursued ahead, reported Collider.
“It was a huge movie for me as well and I do think there’s so much potential in that world, there’s so much left to be said. I’m absolutely game to try to help in any way that I can bring that to life…
“It’s something that we’re in discussions about and very much looking forward to bringing to reality. It’s very early days though,” Leto said.
If “TRON” gets revived, it will be the first movie in the franchise since the original’s sequel in 2010, which revolved around fan-favourite character Flynn’s son Sam (Garrett Hedlund).
Further sequels were in works, but “TRON 3” was scrapped by Disney in 2015 after “Tron Legacy” received poor critical response. (PTI)
