SRINAGAR, Oct 15:
Nine Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) guests arrived here today while six from the Kashmir valley crossed over to the other side of the Line of Control LoC to meet their relatives, separated in 1947.
As many as 39 returnees also crossed sides at Kaman, the last Indian Military post, in Uri sector this afternoon, official sources said here today.
They said nine PoK residents, including two women and a child, arrived here this afternoon after crossing the Aman Setu, the peace bridge on foot.
Nine Kashmiri, who had gone to PoK also returned to their homes after completing their stay on the other side.
Sources said six Kashmiris, including a woman, crossed over to other side of the LoC to meet their relatives, separated in 1947.
They said 32 PoK residents, who had come here also returned to their homes. They included sixteen women and two children.
Thousands of families, divided in 1947, met each other since the bus service between Srinagar-Muzaffarabad was introduced on April 7, 2005.(UNI)
