POONCH, Apr 10: While not even single Indian crossed sides at Chakkan-Da-Bagh LoC point today, 53 new guests arrived here from the Pak occupied Kashmir in the bus from Rawlakote.
Official sources said that total 75 passengers crossed sides at Chakkan-da-Bagh LoC point today and all of them were PoK residents. Not even a single J&K resident was there on the either side. Total 22 PoK residents returned to their homes after staying with their relatives here.
It has been alleged that files of nearly 3400 J&K residents are pending for clearance with the Pakistani authorities on various pretexts. The locals from Rajouri and Poonch are being denied travel permit by the Pak authorities and there is strong resentment among the people here.
