Srinagar, June 30: Police today said to have recovered over Rs 6 lakh as fine from the COVID SOP violators across Kashmir Valley in the last 24 hours from over 5000 persons.
“Continuing its efforts to curb the outbreak of 2nd wave of Coronavirus, during the last 24 hours Police have registered 01 FIR and also realized fine to the tune of Rs 6,94,130/- from 5256 people throughout the Kashmir valley for violating the various guidelines/rules/SOPs regarding Covid-19,” police said, adding besides, 9 vehicles were also seized for violating Covid norms.
Police said that the special drive against the violators of Covid-19 guidelines continued throughout all the districts of Kashmir Valley to ensure that people adhere to SOPs.
