NEW DELHI, July 6: Coriander and turmeric prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today in view of increased buying by retailers and stockists amid low stocks.
Further, fall in supplies from producing belts and firming trend in futures market also supported the upside.
Coriander and turmeric prices rose by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 6,000-12,200 and Rs 7,400-10,100 per quintal, respectively.
Traders said buying support from retailers and stockists against fall in supplies from producing belts, mainly pushed up coriander and turmeric prices.
