SRINAGAR: The State Government today paid Rs one lakh to slain police constable’s family from Chief Minister’s Special Fund.
An official spokesman said here this evening that Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura visited the family of slain constable Tasveer Ahmad Dar at Surasyar Budgam to extend sympathies to the bereaved family.
He also gave away Rs 1 lakh from Chief Minister’s Special Fund to the bereaved family of deceased constable. He directed the authorities concerned to complete the case of compassionate appointment in favour of the next of kin of the slain cop in the shortest possible time. (AGENCIES)
