50 stolen mobile phones handed over to owners

POONCH, May 27: Cyber Cell of Jammu and Kashmir Police recovered 50 stolen mobile phones and handed over to its owners in Poonch district.
Official sources said that many people from different areas of Poonch had registered their complaints in different Police Stations in the district regarding the loss of their mobile phones. Acting on this, the Cyber Cell Poonch recovered 50 lost mobile phones worth Rs 7 lakhs and handed over to owners at DySP operation’s office Poonch today.
Additional SP Poonch Mushim Ahmed and DySP Ops Ajaz Choudhary among many other Police officers said that police have many time recovered numbers of lost mobile phones and handed over to owners in the past, and 50 more mobile phones have been recovered this time.
“People must use their mobile phones vigilantly as the lost phones can be misused by some one which will create problem for the owner itself, ” they added.
