RAJOURI, June 16: The police seized five Tata Mobile vehicles loaded with 13 bovine animals in Darhal area of district Rajouri last night and arrested eight persons in this connection.
A police spokesman said that acting on a specific information, a police party led by SDPO Thannamandi Iftikhar Ahmed laid naka at Raika Bain and seized five Tata Mobile vehicles. 13 bovine animals loaded in the vehicles were also seized along with the vehicles nearing registration Nos. JK-11B/4225, JK11B-8043, JK11A-1005, JK11B-4225 and JK11B-8043.
Eight persons including five drivers were arrested and booked by police. They were identified as Azad Hussain from Barhi Darhal, Iftikhar Hussain from Thanna Mang, Bilal Ahmed from Singli in Darhal, Parvez Hussain from Darhal, Muneer Hussain from Barhi Darhal, Parvez Ahmed from Darhal, Mohd Bashir from Darhal and Muneer Hussain from Singli Darhal.
