5 theft incidents reported in Poonch

POONCH, Apr 9: Five theft cases have been reported during past few days at different places in Poonch city.
In these cases cash, gold besides some other items were taken away by thieves while locks were broken and other house-hold items were left scattered.
The Police have registered cases and investigation was taken up in all these theft cases. But police has failed to work out any case so far.
DySP Headquarters, Poonch, Nawaz Ahmed when contacted said that theft cases were reported in Suthra Bowli and Banday Mohalla in Poonch during past couple of days and one was reported today at Azad Mohalla, the cognizance of which has been taken accordingly.
He said Police have arrested two persons and recovered some cash and gold from them. The investigation was still in progress.
He claimed that some clues about today’s theft case in which Rs 40,000 cash was taken away, has also been developed and soon the thieves will be arrested.
