MENDHAR : Five army soldiers of a unit deployed near Line of Control in Balakote sector of Mendhar were injured when a vehicle they were travelling in plunged into a deep gorge near Bhimber Gali.
“Vehicle met with accident on BG-Balakote road, few kilometres away from BG Chowk, in which five soldiers travelling got injured,” police sources said.
All the injured were evacuated from the site of the accident and rushed for medical treatment to a local hospital where their condition was stated to be serious and they were airlifted for specialised treatment.
