5 pick-pockets arrested in Kalakote

RAJOURI, Mar 22: The police today arrested five pick- pockets and recovered Rs 4000 money stolen from a woman and some other people in Kalakote area.
Reports said Kalakote police nabbed five persons including three women, operating as pick pockets in Kalakote town and vehicles operating in the area. They were identified as Mumtaz Sheikh, son of Afzal Sheikh; Shaheen Sheikh, son of Javid Sheikh; Muskan Sheikh, wife of Imtiaz Sheikh, Saira Sheikh, wife of Saqib Sheikh and Dali Sheikh, wife of Feroz Shikh, all residents of Jammu ( Near Science College). The police also recovered Rs 4000 stolen money from their possession. They had stolen money from Karna, Devi, wife of Kuldip Singh, resident of Dhalyot village. A case FIR No. 19/ 2019 has been registered against them.
Meanwhile, one Suqlain Mushtaq, son of Mushtaq Ahmed, resident of Dhanore, at present Kheora in Rajouri, has been arrested by police in a theft case. He had allegedly stolen Rs 3400 from the shop of Shakeel Ahmed of Palangarh. The police recovered the money and registered a case FIR No. 16/ 2019 against him.
