Srinagar Aug 25: Police today said five persons were injured in different road accidents in Valley parts.
A police spokesman said that a Scorpio bearing registration number JK05E/2078 turned turtle at Pazalporan in Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district resulting in injuries to two passengers. Both the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment,” he said.
Meanwhile, the spokesman said, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03E-1556 hit and injure a pedestrian namely Mohammad Ahsan Bhat at Dendweth in Kokernag area of Anantnag district. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment, the spokesman said.
In another accident at Anantnag, an unknown motorcycle hit and injured a pedestrian namely Mohammad Akbar Dar at Dooru. “The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment,” the police spokesman said, adding, separate cases have been registered in all the accidents that took place in Anantnag
A Maruti car bearing registration number JK05B-8287 and an i10 car collided near Zampa Kadal here resulting in injuries to a person namely Omer Ali, who was boarding in the Maruti car. “The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the police spokesman added.
