5 injured in road accidents

UDHAMPUR, Sept 24: Five persons were injured in two different road accidents near Tikri on National Highway in Udhampur district.
Official sources said that a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK14C-5469 coming from Udhampur side collided with a motorcycle coming opposite side bearing registration number JK14E-0205 near Natraj Bar, Mand in Tikri. Locals and police rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to PHC Tikri for treatment.
The injured persons were identified as Rahul Kumar, son of Naseeb Chand resident of Salmerhi in Udhampur; Des Raj, son of Madan Lal of Salmerhi and Madan Lal, son of Krishan Lal of thwe same area.
Meanwhile, in another road accident one Mahindra vehicle bearing regd. No. JK14D-6684, on way from Jammu towards Udhampur driven negligently collided with the stranded truck bearing regd. No. PB05AL-7242 in Mand area. Two injured persons in the mishap were removed to PHC Tikri.
They were identified as Sanokh Raj, son of Suni Chand and Mohinder Kumar, son of Channu, both residents of Lander, Panchari.
Rehambal police registered a case and started investigation.
