MAHORE, Apr 18: Driver and an infant among five persons were injured when a tempo, they were travelling in, slipped into deep gorge in Chassana, here today.
The tempo, bearing registration number JK20 -6751, rolled down from the Sanglikot-Chassana road and fell around 100/120 feet deep gorge about 0950 hours this morning, resulting into injuries to five passengers.
The injured were identified as driver Mohd Rafiq (32), son of Habibullah, resident of Thalkote, Mohd Farooq (27) son of Abdul Aziz of Thalkote, Chanchla Devi (26) wife of Gulchain Singh of Malikote, her two-year old daughter Deepa Thakur and Jamsheed Ahmed (22) son of Mohd Ayoub of Mamankote.
The injured were shifted to District Hospital Rajouri for treatment.
