5 hurt as Scorpio collides with bus

RAJOURI, July 20: At least five persons were injured,  one of them seriously when a Scorpio Mahindra vehicle was collided with a bus near Siot,  between Sunderbani  and Nowshera this afternoon.
A police spokesman said that the mishap took place when the Poonch route bus bearing registration No.  JK02AH/3151 was on its way to Mendhar from Jammu. Scorpio vehicle No. JK-11A/ 3388 was on way to Jammu from Rajouri.  A  CAPD Department employee, Rajesh Kumar was driving it.
Near Siot, his vehicle collided with a bus coming from the opposite  direction. Total five persons including  Scorpio driver Rakesh were injured.  They  included four women travelling in the bus. The injured were removed to Sunderbani hospital.  The women were discharged after providing first aid at Sunderbani hospital while, Rakesh Kumar was referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu. The  police has taken cognizance of the matter.
