DODA, Aug 16: Bhagwah police rescued 5 bovine animals, while the cattle smuggler managed to escape.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bhagwah Police Post led by SI Lekh Raj laid a naka and intercepted a person carrying flock of bovine animals.
During questioning, the person failed to give satisfactory reply and managed to escape from the spot, by taking benefits of the darkness. Police rescued 5 cattle.
A case under FIR Number 143/18 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation started.
