KATHUA, Dec 24: Rajbagh police rescued five bovine animals, while the smuggler managed to escape.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Rajbagh Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a mini-truck bearing registration number JK02AH-7895.
During checking, police rescued five bovine animals from the vehicle and seized it, while the driver managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 263/17 under Section 188 RPC and 3/5 PCA Act has been registered at Rajbagh Police Station and hunt has been launched to nab the accused driver.
