SRINAGAR, Oct 1 : Paying glowing tributes to renowned political and religious luminary late Moulana Iftikhar Hussain Ansari, on his 4th death anniversary, a large number of people today held special prayers across the Valley.
In this connection, a special congregation was held at Zadibal staring from Quran Khawani at Mazarisharief of Moulana Mohammad Jawaad Ansari at which his grave exist in Gulistan Babamazar Alamgaribazar, led by students of Jamia Imam- e -Sadiq Shadipora, Sumbal and later joint congregation and Nawah Khawani ( Majlis Aza) recited by prominent Zakirin at historic Imambargah Zadibal and hundreds of mourners participated. The special prayer meetings continued on second day today to offer fatehwakhawani to late religious clerk and political leader.
Speaking at the congregation noted Islamic scholar Hujatul Islam Walmuslimeen Moulana Syed Qalbi Rushaid Rizvi made impressive sermon on Shahadat-e-Hussain and vision of Shia thought on Islam and Prophet Muhammad. He also highlighted the role played by Late Moulana Ansari for upliftment of Shia community. He said it was his persona which had always remained on forefront in favour of the community and as an Islamic preacher, guide and spiritual leader his contributions would be remembered for ever.
Moulana Qalbi hoped that his son, Hujatul Islam Walmuslimeen Molvi Imran Raza Ansari would not only follow footprints laid out by his father but would walk extra miles.
On this occasion noted poet, writer, social and political personality Zaffar Iqbal Manhas also paid glowing tributes to Late Moulana and highlighted his role in maintaining the socio fabric and harmony among communities.
