KATHUA, June 3: A team of district administration today retrieved 47 kanal and 12 Marlas encroached State land at village Juthana.
The district administration Kathua on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Ramesh Kumar has initiated extensive anti-encroachment drive across the district following reports of increasing incidents of land garbing cases. The drive is being conducted under the supervision of ACR Kathua Atul Gupta.
As part of the drive a team comprising Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar and field staff of Revenue Department visited village Juthana and vacated illegally encroached 47 kanals and 12 marala land under Khasra No 615.
The team also appealed the locals to immediately inform the administration about any encroachment attempt in their area.
