46 JEs get charge as AEs

JAMMU, May 31: Government today assigned temporary charge of the post of incharge Assistant Engineers (AEs) to the 46 Junior Engineers (JEs) and placed their services at the disposal of respective Chief Engineers and HoDs.
As per an order, the JEs (Diploma Holders) who have been assigned the charge of the post of incharge AEs and whose services have been placed at the disposal of Chief Engineer, Irrigation and Flood Control (I&FC) Jammu and Chief Engineer, PHE Jammu are Ashok Kumar Tickoo, Rajesh Kumar Abrol, Ravi Kumar Gupta, Pawan Kumar Salgotra, Mahesh Chander, Girdhari Lal, Jatinder Pal Singh, Sanjay Koul, Bodh Raj Chagdal, Sat Pal Baboria, Madan Mohan, Surinder Kumar, Hakim Mushtaq Ali, Surinder Kumar, Deepak Sharma, Ram Singh Manhas, Kuljeet Singh Khajuria, Upinder Singh, Anil Kumar, Surinder Singh, Vivek Kohli, Ravi Kant, Vinod Kumar Dhar, Deepak Kumar Sharma, Bihari Lal Raina, Karan Singh, Ajay Bargotra, Ravinder Kumar, and Tejinder Singh.
Meanwhile, the JEs who have been assigned the charge of incharge AEs and whose services have been placed at the disposal of Chief Engineer I&FC Kashmir, Chief Engineer PHE Kashmir, and ERA Kashmir, are Malik Mehraj-ul-Hassan, Manzoor Ahmad Ahangar, Arooj Alam Arooj, Shakeel-ur-Rehman Lone, Nissar Ahmad Bhat, Fayaz Ahmad Chadoo, Nissar Ahmad Rather, Mushtaq Ahmad Malik, Abdul Qadir Wathloo, Mohammad Ayub Baba, Bashir Ahmad Dar, Mohammad Shafi Sheikh, Farooq Ahmad and Nasir Jan Buch.
The order said that the placement/assignment of charge to JEs is purely to meet administrative exigency without confirming any preferential right upon the officer to claim promotion on substantive basis till the post is filled under rules following due process.
“The placement/assignment of charge is subject to superior claim of any left out officer if found genuine or outcome of legal proceedings pending before the Court,” read the order.
In case of the requirement of the borrowing organisations ceases or the officers deputed by the Jal Shakti Department are repatriated, the junior most officers shall be reverted from the higher posts and shall not have any claim of benefit of assignment of temporary charge of the higher post, the order further read.
