KATHUA, May 4: The sleuths of Excise Department destroyed 450 kilograms of lahan and 20 litres of illicit liquor.
As per official spokesman, on the directions of the Excise Commissioner Anu Malhotra and supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu Ashish Gupta, ETO Excise Range Kathua Savita Chouhan, the Excise Team Kathua led by Inspector Excise Sanjeev Khajuria along with SI Amit Sharma, Excise Guards Rajinder Singh, Kanwar Dutt and Mohammad Akeel raided Sakta Chak Upper, Sakta Chak Lower, Chatrayala, Mahi Chak, Barnoti and Birso Chak areas of the district.
During raids, 450 kilograms of lahan and 20 litres of illicit liquor was recovered and later destroyed.
