JAMMU, Dec 24: A Lok Adalat was organized today in the premises of Munsiff Court Complex, Akhnoor under the chairmanship of Pooja Raina, Chairman, Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Akhnoor.
A bench was constituted, which comprise of Pooja Raina, Munsiff Akhnoor, Vikas Mangotra, Retainer Lawyer and Pardeep Kumar Patyar, Retainer Lawyer.
During the Lok Adalat, a total of 50 cases were taken up, out of which 44 cases were settled by negotiation, mediation and conciliation efforts. A fine of Rs 20,380 was realized on the spot.
