SRINAGAR: The management of Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), Pampore has filed an FIR alleging that computers, television and other articles went missing during the recent encounter between militants and security forces.
Two militants were killed and as many security personnel were injured in the encounter which lasted in 58 hours. A police spokesperson reacting to media reports said Awantipora police has received a complaint in this regard from EDI.
The contents of the complaint are being verified to check whether the articles went missing before the encounter, during the encounter or after the encounter.
After this a formal FIR is being lodged to investigate the matter. (AGENCIES)
