JAMMU, June 12: Jammu Police have successfully recovered 40 stolen mobile phones following multiple complaints lodged at different police stations in District Jammu.
A police spokesperson said that in response to the complaints, a special police team was formed under the supervision of SDPO City East, Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari, and SDPO South, Sachit Sharma.
The teams, led by SHOs/incharge Police Posts of the respective police stations, diligently traced the stolen and missing mobile phones.
The rightful owners were ultimately reunited with their phones, thanks to the efforts of the Jammu Police.
The overall operation was conducted under the watchful eye of SP City South, Shaheen Wahid.
The investigation into the cases is currently ongoing, said the police spokesperson.
