4 thieves arrested with stolen items

JAMMU, Oct 22: Chinore police arrested four thieves along with stolen items worth several lakhs.
As per police sources, on October 18 this year, a complaint was lodged by Neeraj Bhagat of Police Colony, Rajinder Nagar Bantalab with Police Post Chinore stating that some unknown persons entered into his house at Police Colony Rajinder Nagar and decamped with household items after break-opening the door locks.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 379/18 under section 457 and 380 RPC was registered at Police Station Domana and hunt was launched to nab the thieves.
During the course of investigation, police team detained several persons and finally succeeded in arresting four persons involved in this theft case.
The arrested persons have been identified as Neeraj Shah of Uttar Pradesh, at present Police Colony Rajinder Nagar Bantalab, Abhishekh Sambyal, son of Sudershan Singh Sambyal of Police Colony Rajinder Nagar Bantalab, Adarsh Thapa and Anmol Thapa, sons of Vijay Kumar Thapa, resident of Dina Nagar Bantalab.
On their disclosure, 1 LED, 1 vacuum cleaner, 1 DVD and 1 iron press were recovered, while some of the items they have disposed off.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
Police team led by Incharge Chinore Police Post SI Ranjeet Singh Rao made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Rajeshwer Singh Slathia, SDPO Domana Sandeep Gupta, SP Rural Dushyant Sharma and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
