4 structures, school record gutted

SRINAGAR, Feb 7: Four structures and records of a Government School were damaged in different fire incidents across the Valley today.
A police spokesperson said fire broke out in the shop of Saif-ud-Din son of Mohammad Sultan Lone of Kangroosa Rafiabad in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district and the shop was damaged completely. The cause of the fire is believed to be due to electric short circuit.
Fire broke out in the Joinery Mill of Manzoor Ahmad Najar son of Late Ghulam Qadir of Naid Bone Rainawari here. The Mill was completely damaged in this incident.
Fire broke out in the shop of Aijaz Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din of New Qazi Bagh, in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district and damaged the shop partially. The cause of fire is believed to be due to electric short circuit. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders and police.
Fire broke out in the Kuthar of Abdul Jabbar Bhat son of Hayat Bhat of Kalipora Lalpora, in North Kashmir’s district Kupwara. In this incident the structure got partially damaged.
In another incident, old school record was damaged in a fire incident in the store room of Government Middle School Tulsibagh here. The services of FSL experts are being utilized to ascertain the cause of fire.
