JAMMU, Mar 28: Four Congress Ministers in the Coalition Government and six former Ministers are in the net of State Accountability Commission (SAC) in connection with allegations of corruption.
According to the official information, Minister for Public Enterprises, Peerzada Mohd Syed has been facing regular enquiry before the SAC in the complaint filed by the employees of Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education.
Taj Mohi-ud-Din, the then Minister for CAPD and presently Minister for Medical Education and Youth Services and Sports, the then MLA and presently Minister for Roads and Buildings, Abdul Majid Wani and Minister of State for Finance and Cooperatives, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma have also been facing regular enquiry before the Accountability Commission. However, the same have been stayed by the State High Court.
The former Ministers, who have been facing enquiry before the SAC, are Suman Lata Bhagat (the then Minister for Health), Gulchain Singh Charak (the then Minister for R&B), A G Sofi (the then Minister for Health and Medical Education), Hakeem Mohd Yaseen (the then Minister for CAPD), Mangat Ram Sharma (the then Minister for Health and Medical Education) and Surjeet Singh Slathia (the then Minister for Industries and Commerce).
