4 shopkeepers arrested for unauthorised sale of uniform articles

JAMMU, July 3: Bahu Fort Police arrested four shopkeepers for unauthorised sale of uniform articles.
As per police sources, keeping in view the current security scenario and in a drive to enhance security of the district, Jammu Police has tightened the noose against the violators of DM order regarding unauthorized sale of uniform articles.
A specially dedicated team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by Inspector Deepak Pathania under the supervision of SDPO City East Bikram Kumar raided various shops and arrested four persons for violating the DM order.
The arrested persons were identified as Sanjeev Gupta, son of Bishamber Nath Gupta of Nanak Nagar having shop on the name and title M/s Gupta Variety at Shiv Market, Vishesh Gupta, son of Rajeev Gupta of Trikuta Nagar having shop on the name and title New Trikuta Kashmiri Art Emporium at Shiv Market, Ravi Kumar, son of Jagan Nath of Chand Nagar Jammu having shop on the name and title M/s Shiv Kashmir Art Emporium at Shiv Market and Ashok Balgotra, son of Janak Kumar Balgotra of Nanak Nagar having shop on the name and title M/s Aar-Bee Shop at Shiv Nagar.
Cases under FIR Numbers 241/2021, 242/2021, 243/2021 and 244/2021 under Section 188 IPC have been registered against the arrested persons at Bahu Fort Police Station and investigation started.
