JAMMU, Nov 2: Four samples out of a total of 37 samples of milk and milk products lifted by the Drugs and Food Control Organisation (DFCO) have failed, the DFCO said.
It added that as a part of special drive against adulteration during festival season, the DFCO teams under the supervision of Drugs Controller Satish Gupta had lifted 37 samples from outskirts of Jammu region.
Some of the reports of the samples have been received and four of them have failed, they said, adding that more reports were expected to be received in the next few days.
The DFCO said it would take action against the shopkeepers, whose samples have failed, under the rules.
