4 injured in two grenade attacks

SRINAGAR, Oct 26:  Militants today carried out two grenade attacks on Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Kulgam and Tral areas of South Kashmir injuring four persons including three security men.
Militants attacked the police station with a grenade at around 4.30 resulting in injuries to two cops and a civilian at DH Pora in Kulgam district.
Both the policemen and civilian have been shifted to nearby hospital for treatment. The injured cops have been identified as Mohammad Altaf and Janbaz Ahmad while the civilian was identified as Mohammad Altaf Magray.
Meanwhile, a CRPF personnel was injured in a grenade attack in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district today.
Militants fired a rifle grenade towards 180 battalion of CRPF camp around 6.25 pm, leaving a constable injured.
The injured CRPF man has been identified as SS Diwiti and was shifted to 92-Base Hospital Badami Bagh Cantonment in Srinagar.
Soon after the attack, security forces cordoned off the area to nab the militants.
