4 injured in separate road accidents

SAMBA, Feb 1: Four people were injured in two separate road accidents in Samba district today.
According to police two Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims who were on their way to holy cave in their Collis car bearing number DL 4S AG 0786 were seriously injured when their car was hit by an unknown truck from back side at National Highway near Nanke Chak this morning.
They were rushed by Sapwal police to District Hospital Samba where from doctors referred them to GMC Jammu for treatment as their condition was critical.
The duo was identified as Varinder Kumar and Shakuntula Devi. Both were residents of Delhi. Sapwal Police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law. However the truck fled from the scene after accident.
In another accident a motorcyclist and a Bolero driver were injured after the two vehicles collided with each other at NH near Sankha Morh today. Both of them were rushed to GMC Jammu by Vijaypur Police.
The police has registered a case in this regard under relevant Sections of law.
The Bolero driver was identified as Jaswinder Singh alias Deepu son of Gurmukh Sing of Sanjay Nagar, Jammu while motor cyclist was identified as Davinder Singh, son of Barkat Singh of Raika Labana.
Police said the Bolero bearing registration number JK 02 AG 2033 hit the motor cycle bearing number JK02AB 8053 and both the driver of Bolero and two wheeler were seriously injured.
