RAJOURI, July 24: Four persons were injured in two separate road accidents in district Rajouri this evening.
A police spokesman said that 18-year-old, Kajal, daughter of Dev Raj, resident of Rajouri town and Rahul (20), son of Raj Kumar, resident of Rajouri town were injured when their bike skidded on the road near Kallar, on Rajouri-Jammu Highway this evening. Rahul was driving while girl was sitting with him. The police suspected that youth was under the influence of some toxic substance. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
Meanwhile, two persons were injured when a private car (JK02AL/1937) and Tempo traveler (JK02AB/1309) collided near Siot on Rajouri-Sunderbani-Jammu road this evening. Injured car driver Arun Dutta, resident of Draba in Surankote and Namrata Bal, wife of Sanjay Bal, resident of Ban Talab, Jammu were hospitalized at Sunderbani. The police registered a case in this connection.
