4 injured in Pampore firing

SRINAGAR, Jan 31:Four persons were injured after the security forces fired to disperse protesters in Samboora village of Pampore area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district this evening.
An Army party conducted a search operation in the Samboora village of Pampore area late evening and people started stone pelting on them and they fired injuring four persons. They were shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar where they are being treated.
Security forces cordoned off Heff Shermal area of Shopian district today and launched searches. However, as the searches were underway, locals came out of their houses pelted stones on security forces.
Police fired dozens of teargas shells to disperse the locals hampering the operation. Later the search operation was called off.
