4 drug peddlers nabbed with intoxicant injections, ganja

JAMMU, Mar 20: Four drug peddlers have been arrested with intoxicant injections and ganja.
As per police sources, on specific information, SOG team and cops from Gangyal police station laid a naka and intercepted a scooty bearing registration number JK02BM-4368.
During checking, police recovered 610 intoxicant injections and arrested the drug peddler, who has been identified as Mohan Singh, son of Bishan Singh, a resident of Roop Nagar Digiana.
Meanwhile, on specific information, a team from Gangyal police station laid a naka near Mrakhrie Mohallah and intercepted three persons.
During checking, police recovered 7 kilograms ganja and arrested the three persons, who have been identified as Sampat Sharma, son of Sita Ram, Beij Nath, son of Shivnanda Sahu and Rajesh Sahu, son of Kapil Sahu, trio residents of Bihar, at present Gangyal.
Cases under FIR Numbers 36/16 and 37/16 under section Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act have been registered at police station Gangyal and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Gangyal police station Inspector Aejaz Wani made the arrest under the supervision of DySP DSB Karanjit, SP Operations Nasir Ahmed and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
