4 days special Yoga Camp held in SSK concludes

JAMMU, Dec 2: Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra (SSK), a socio-cultural organization, organized Special Yoga camp, under the guidance of an expert teacher, Nalini Dhar Toshniwal from Japan.
She is daughter of the soil and a renowned Yoga teacher and exponent of Indian classical dance. The well attended Yoga Camp commenced on 28 November.
Participants of the camp learned various Asanas, Pranayam, and other various yoga-related exercises and where introduced with the new forms of Yog-Asanas with emphasis on impact of Yoga on mental and physical wellbeing of the person.
The technique of meditation was also taught in which participants learned the basics of the method, and practised sufficiently to experience its beneficial results. She taught some subtle points to the participating men and women and assured to provide her help in fine tuning the yoga classes being held in future also.
On the concluding function today she delivered a talk on the importance of Yoga. She urged the participants to make Yoga part of their daily activities. She also guided on the stress management technique. While explaining the number of benefits, she said Yoga helps to control stress, decreases anxiety, improves cardiovascular health and also awakens inner consciousness.
On the occasion Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra honoured the expert Yoga teacher and presented her a copy of Shreemad Bhagwad Geeta.
