4 booked for trespassing, snatching Rs one lakh

KATHUA, Feb 18: Kathua police has registered a case against four persons for trespassing and snatching Rs one lakh cash.
In his application Surinder Singh, son of Kirpal Singh, Manager Baba Chistiya Screening Plant resident of Taraf Tajwal Kathua alleged that Parabjot Gill, Sandeep Mahajan (Sonu) , Sunil Kumar Joshi and Amit along with other business partners had given Rs three lakh to Sandeep Mahajan and Rs one lakh to Parabjot Gill for extraction of raw material from river Ujh last week but till date no form A has been issued by Parabjeet and Sandeep to him. He alleged that they forced him for illegal sale of the material to earn huge profit.
In his complaint he also stated that when he asked for the issuance of Form A to provide same to commercial vehicles like dumpers and tractors they refused and later the higher ups of the organisation where called by them. One Mr Joshi later issued 1000 forms A which is only five percent of the value of the material purchased by him from the firm.
He said on February 15 Sandeep and Parbjeet entered the premises of the stone crusher of complainant and demanded more money without issuing Form A and they forcibly snatched Rs one lakh from him. He said this way they are looting the stone crusher owners and also harassing them. He alleged that they are issuing threatening to him. He demanded an investigation in the matter.
The Kathua police has registered a case FIR Number 73/21, US 382/451/504/506/34 IPC in this regard and started investigation.
