
SRINAGAR: Governor N N Vohra and Director General of Border Security Force (BSF) K K Sharma today discussed overall security situation in the State.
Mr Sharma who rushed from New Delhi following the killing of three BSF personnel and injuries to five others in a militant attack at Bijbehara in Anantnag district yesterday, called on Mr Vohra at Raj Bhavan here.
He was accompanied by Arun Kumar, ADG BSF, Western Command, Aditya Mishra, IG BSF Delhi, and Vikash Chandra. Mr Vohra and the DG discussed the security scenario in the State, particularly in the aftermath of yesterday’s ambush on the BSF convoy at Bijbehara.
The Governor conveyed his grief to the DG on the loss of three BSF personnel in yesterday’s attack and wished speedy recovery to those who have been injured. (AGENCIES)
