POONCH, Nov 7: The 36th District Open Table Tennis Championship was declared open by Additional Superintendent of Police Mohan Sharma, drawing nearly 100 participants across different age groups. Interacting with players, ASP appreciated the District Table Tennis Association Poonch for channeling youth energy positively and lauded Er Saleem Bandey, General Secretary and Ajeet Singh Jeet, President, for producing national-level athletes.
Organized under the J&K Table Tennis Association, the championship will select top-ranking players for UT-level competitions. Prominent attendees included Prem Parkash Luthra, Tariq Khan, Lekh Raj Datta, and several other sports officials and enthusiasts.
