SAMBA, Nov 17: An anti encroachment drive was today carried out at village Bara of district Samba where 35 Kanals of prime State land under Khasra No. 223/92 was retrieved from illegal possession.
Under the direct supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Samba, Rohit Khajuria, the anti encroachment team led by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Vijaypur, C P Kotwal and others reached the encroached site and pressed multiple JCB machine for demolition of concrete structures including boundary walls, pavements, sheds, RCC structures raised over the illegal possession of state land.
During the drive Tehsildar, Vijaypur, Pardeep Singh, SI Karnail Singh besides other field staff of Revenue Department and JK Police were also present.
