JAMMU, Jan 20: Two days placement drive under Udaan was conducted by Tata Motors at Govt. Polytechnic, Jammu for the post of “Trainee Service Manager” and “Dealer Sales Executive”, in which 34 candidates were selected.
More than 100 passed out students of Diploma Engineer and Graduate Engineer in Mechanical, Electrical and Automobile branches as well as other graduates and post graduates appeared in the drive.
Swati Jha, Senior Manager Skill Development & Training in Tata Motors, Gurugram, Haryana, along with her team members conducted the placement drive. Pre-counseling placement session was also conducted for the students to give them exposure including brief introduction about Tata Motors which was followed by general aptitude test and personal interview.
The selected candidates will undergo training on Technical & Managerial Skill Development in first six months in reputed education school and Tata Motors training Centre at Banglore. After successful completion of training, they will be placed in the set up along with the initial salary of Rs 15000/- per month.
