KATHUA, May 27: Intensifying its anti encroachment drive, district administration Kathua today retrieved 31 kanal and 8 marla of state land from 11 illegal occupants at village Jagatpur .
DC Kathua Ramesh Kumar said that the anti encroachment drives were carried out in all 11 tehsils of district Kathua wherein 6755.12 kanal of land including 4226.06 kanal of state land, 2496.10 kanal of kacharai and 32.16 kanal of common land has been retrieved from illegal occupants.
He said that directions have been issued to all the SDMs and Tehsildars to intensify anti encroachment drives in their respective areas.
