Handwara, Oct 21: A three-year-old boy was mauled to death by a leopard in Khaipora Handwara in North Kashmir.
Police said that the incident occurred in the Kohipora village of Handwara area in Kupwara district. The victim has been identified as Mehraj-ud-Din Bhat.
Locals said that the leopard attacked the boy when he was kept outside his house on verandah. The leopard dragged the boy to a nearby forest police said and added that the body was retrieved from the forest this morning
