KATHMANDU : Tremors continued to rock Nepal following last month’s devastating earthquake as three aftershocks of over 4 magnitude were felt today in central and northern parts of the country.
A 4 magnitude tremor was recorded at 8.30 am with its epicentre located in Gorkha district, according to the National Seismological Centre in Kathmandu.
Two other 4.2 magnitude tremors were recorded at 12.37 am and 5.20 am with epicentres at Dolakha and Dhading districts, the NSC said.
So far, 287 aftershocks of 4 or above magnitude have been recorded since the April 25 earthquake which killed nearly 9,000 people in the country. (AGENCIES)
