RAMBAN, Apr 21: The Forest Department staff today dismantled three structures and retrieved about 30 kanals of Forest land in Gool area of Ramban Forest Division.
Official sources said that Gool Forest Range office staff received reports that three families taking benefit of lock down raised three structures in Forest area (Compt No. 31) at village Salballa, under Dharam beat of Gool Forest Division. They informed about the matter to DFO Ramban, Anwar Aftab Shah.
Then RO Gool Sajjad Hussain under the supervision of DFO Ramban launched operation during the day and dismantled all the three structures and also retrieved nearly 30 kanals of forest land. The accused land grabbers have been booked under Forest Act. They had also caused damage to some trees in the area.
