JAMMU, June 10: Three soldiers got injured, when the Army ambulance they were traveling in collided with a truck at Chambalwas in tehsil Banihal on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
As per police sources, three soldiers got injured when their Srinagar bound Army Ambulance collided head on with a Jammu bound truck bearing registration number JK02F-9811 at Chambalwas in tehsil Banihal on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
In the incident, ambulance driver received minor injuries while as the seriously injured soldiers identified as Sepoy Dev Karan and Lance Naik Ishwar of 12 RR were airlifted from the MI Room, Banihal to the Army Command Hospital, Udhampur.
The driver of the truck fled from the spot and manhunt has been launched to nab him.
Police has also taken cognizance in this regard.
