3 peddlers held, heroin recovered

JAMMU, Sept 21: Jammu Police has recovered 12 grams of heroin from three peddlers at three different locations.
A police spokesperson said while 5 grams of heroin was recovered by Miran Sahib Police from a bike-borne youth namely Kishore Kumar alias Shunna son of Banarsi Lal, resident of Bhour Kotha (tehsil Gadigarh, district Jammu) at Bagh-e-Bhour Park naka, 4 grams of heroin was recovered by Satwari Police from a suspect namely Vikas Jailkhani son of late Maharaj Krishan Jailkhani, resident of (Muthi, Jammu), at Raipur Satwari naka.
He said 3 grams of heroin was also recovered from a suspect namely Mukul Matto son of Manga Matto, resident of Valmiki Colony (Gandhi Nagar, Jammu) at Valmiki Chowk naka by Gandhi Nagar Police.
“Three separate cases under NDPS Act have been registered against the accused in concerned police stations and they were arrested,” the spokesperson said, adding, further investigation of the cases was going on.
