JAMMU, Dec 7:
A couple among three members of a family was killed this morning when their car collided with a tractor-trolley on the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Three people died on the spot when their car collided with a tractor-trolley at Bhalwal Morh on the Jammu-Pathankot national highway,” police spokesman said.
He said one Subhash Chander Gupta, his wife Raj Rani and son Sarweshar Gupta, resident of R S Pura, were going to attend a marriage party at Ludhiana when the accident occurred.
“All the members died on the spot. The tractor-trolley driver managed to escape from the spot,” the spokesman said, adding that a case has been registered and investigations are in progress.(UNI)
