MENDHAR, May 24: Block Medical Officer Mendhar, Dr Parvez Ahmed Khan today suspended three employees of the Sub District Hospital, Mendhar for being absent from duty.
Official sources said that BMO, during surprise visit to SDH found that three employees as per Sunday roster, were not present to attend the patients. After preliminary inquiry from other staff members, he found them unauthorisedly absent and placed them under suspension. They are Mohd Altaf and Rift Akhtar- both Lab Assistants and Safaiwalla -Ali Asgar. He also fined Rs 500 each to the staffers- Karjeet Kour and Neetu Balla, Junior Staff Nurses for violating dress code. Technician Subash Chander was also charge- sheeted under different offence.
