REASI, May 3: A young couple along with their child from Uttar Pradesh, who were on pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, got injured when the auto rickshaw carrying them plunged into Balini Nallah in Katra, here today.
The accident took place near Balini Bridge when the Auto (JK14E- 5118) in which they were travelling, slipped into the nallah, resulting into serious injuries to the trio.
The injured were identified as Rajiv Kumar (36), son of Vinod Kumar, his wife Kanti (31) and their 4-year old son Prajwal, residents of Lucknow, UP. They were shifted to CHC Katra. After first aid, injured Rajiv Kumar was referred to GMC Hospital Jammu for advanced treatment.
